AccuQuilt GO - Drunkards Path - 4 Inch Finished

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by The only way to cut difficult quilting blocks accurately If your an experienced quilter, you will know that Drunkard's Path is tricky to sew, because it's tricky to cut accurately. Not only that but you're sewing on a curve and on the bias, so perfect results are difficult to produce. The Accuquilt Drunkard's Path die has two cutting areas, so you can cut up to 6 layers of each patch to make the little 4 inch (finished) blocks. The accuracy is assured, because each patch has a 'notch' half-way along the seam. You can even watch a YouTube video of the amazing Eleanor Burns demonstrating the block. But, I hear you ask, if it's so difficult, why would I want to buy the die? Have a look on-line for pattern variations -it's a very versatile block. The first think I'm going to use it for is a baby quilt using the die to form a pattern of hearts - clever, huh? (Not my idea, so I can't take the credit!). 16 April 2016

  • After cutting, you may find excess threads lingering where the die blades meet. Simply cut these off with scissors.
  • Cut a "tester shape" to ensure fabric orientation is correct before cutting duplicates for your quilts.
  • Use cutting mats that matches die size.
  • To applique: apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
  • Cut with die blades running under the roller, at an angle - not parallel to the roller.
  • Align fabric to the edge of the shape and not the edge of the die board.

  • Reduce mistakes and save fabric - no more rulers, scissors, etc.
  • Get more out of your fabric by placing two tone foam (sold separately) over your shape.
  • Increased safety - no blades near fingers.
  • No more measuring seam allowance - it's built in on geometric shapes!
  • Easy to use - place die on cutter, then your fabric and cutting mat on top.

A staple in every quilter's repertoire - this "Drunkard's Path" die is perfect for creating curved pieces of fabric for your quilts.

The only difference being that, with AccuQuilt, you can create them in a fraction of the time!

Go! Fabric Cutting Dies are quick and easy alternatives to cutting with scissors or trimmers, giving you accurately shaped cuts time and time again.

Cutting up to six layers of cotton fabric at one time, this range of dies is the perfect solution for your quilting requirements.
